Manchester United Failure

The reasons I m going to give you for the current scenario of Manchester United might be offensive to Manchester United fans.
Sir Alex Ferguson before stepping down as Manchester United manager made some blunders. I still remember when Ronaldo missed a penalty at Upton Park and commentator quoted "Sometimes Superstars make mistakes". Same is the case with Sir Alex and now I m going to tell you why?!

Treatment of Youngsters:

Paul Pogba left United due to lack of game time and he blamed Ferguson for it. Now if that golden boy still played for United they might not be facing this much crisis in Midfield. Morrsion is also another youngster who could easily be star at United one day. Club and manager always come first and no player is bigger than club but who makes the club big?!

 Leaving at wrong time:

Yes he left United when they were best English side by far. But United was never not as good as they were supposed to be when he left. They didn't have those sort of players and star names to carry on without Ferguson. Youngsters they were using were never as good as class of 92. United were turning into a decent team and under his guidance they could be the team that in coming years could conquer Europe but this team was in learning process at that time.

Squad:

Looking at United current squad I think other than attacking department they lack in every other department. Midfield is weak and there is no way these players can make one of the best 4 in midfield even in England. Clearly Cleverly is not that good to step up at United level. Kagawa needs time but how much time?! Giggs is not a player who should be playing for United now with due respect to the legend. Carrick looks to be decent but he is not creative.
Now coming to defense other than Brazilian right back I don't think anyone can replace the quality at defense that United had back in 2008. Vidic and Ferdinand are past. Vidic was best defender once now he is not even in top 20 for me.

Choosing the wrong man:

He chose the wrong man. I trusted Moyes all the time but still no results. Lets put results aside they are not good enough. They are not performing.

Moyes Problem:

Lets just assume one thing that Moyes is very good manager but what he did wrong is bringing Everton Staff with him and some former United stars as coaches. Good Player doesn't mean Good Coach. Coaches are most important part of club, they might not get credit but they are the ones who bring real success to the team.

Sack Moyes?!

Now I would say yes which contradicts my all previous posts but yes time has changed a lot in last three weeks or so. Moyes maybe the right man according to Ferguson but with due respect to United and Ferguson I don't feel the same way.

 Solution:

This might be funny I think Ferguson should come back. Bring Ronaldo back and see what United can do.

Are Divers Cheats??

Introduction:

Recent years diving has become a huge problem in football world. Even many world class players dive or fake an injury. But question today I m going to answer is "Are divers Cheats?"

Cheating or Winning?

Well there is no doubt in anyone mind that diving is unethical and should stay out of the game but when your team gets a penalty from a dive and you get three points because of it "Does it really matter then?"
Football history is full of diving and cheating incidents. Suarez handball at World Cup was also cheating incident but now think about it, his team got the chance to play the World Cup semi final. Was he really a cheat? He took one for his team man!!! If anyone from my team did that I will be quite pleased most of us would be.
If I could get my team to play against 10 men rather than 11 men isn't it worth a try?

Making most of it:

If diving is a problem players should be fined because of it there must a set of rules to define that punishment. Players have been fined before but there should be proper set of rules.
Making most of the tackle for my liking is not a dive. When I m running and about to shoot at goal and opponent just slightly clipped my ankle "You think I can still shoot the way I want or I was about to??" I think that I deserve a Free Kick for it and I m going to try to get it.
My team is losing 1-0 90th minute I dive inside the penalty box and wins a penalty my team gets a point okay I did cheat but I did it for my team I did because I cant see my team losing and I do not mind after winning that people call me cheat!!!

Professional Tackle:

If Professional Tackle is one match ban lets make Dive also one match ban. I would love to sit of bench for one match if my team gets 3 points because of me. If you say intention foul by defender was necessary because he did to win the match for his team then why diver is abused so much and not that defender??

Summary:

My point is Diving is cheat but do not blame it on Divers all the time and do not abuse them because whatever they do is for  their team no one like to be called as "Cheat" or "Diver" but yes they should be punished like defender doing intentional foul as a last man is.

Predictions

Everton vs Liverpool:

I think Home side will have better chance of winning the game as they are in good shape but cant rule out Liverpool completely as they are playing good football this season. I predict Everton win though.

Manchester City vs Tottenham:

Manchester City this season have been unlucky many time so I think Tottenham might upset this sunday. I predict Draw or Tottenham win.

Arsenal vs Southampton:

Arsenal might win this game but surly this is not an easy game for Gunners.

Cardiff vs Manchester United:

Manchester United have found their form lately so I think Manchester United will win away at Cardiff City.

West Ham United vs Chelsea:

London affair. Very difficult to predict I think Special One will win this for Chelsea but like Arsenal game it will be tough for Chelsea.

Is Manchester United back in Business???

Well obviously after beating Arsenal they are back in title run. They seems to have find the right trio and combination in attack, midfield and defense. They are playing some good football they were just unlucky not to score more against Arsenal.

Persie and Rooney:

Many might say that they are best attack partnership in the premier league. Surely they are best if they play at their full tempo and form. Recently both looks to have find their rhythm in recent weeks. THANK GOD!!!

Surprise Package:

Januzaj is surly the best teenager in premier league and may be in the world right now. Obviously he has alot to learn still he is young and with a lot of potential. Kagawa being out of United squad due to injuries and many wrote due to Moyes is also playing better football not his best yet though.

  Champions?

I would say yes they will retain English Title this year but obviously i m United fan and getting too optimistic.

Team that will Stop United?

One team for my liking has potential to overcome United this season that is Manchester City. They might not be top of the table but they have potential to be at top by some margin.

France?!

From Champions to Play-Offs:

14 years ago France were ultimate international team which had players like Zidane, Henry, Viera, Barthez etc. They were champions like no one else winning World Cup and Euro Cup in 1998 and 2000. In 2006 they went on to play World Cup final and just lost on penalties and Zidane RED CARD.
Now Where they are??? They played World Cup 2010 by just qualifying on play offs many would say "THAT WAS FOUL PLAY"!!!

Can they Qualify now:

They lost first leg 2-0 though an away leg but it would be extremely difficult for them to be the part of Brazil teams now for France. I do not think they will qualify now.

Problem:

I might not be right but clearly only one thing for me "THEIR SQUAD is quite OVERRATED". Ribery might be a star and after him I think only Nasri is really a class player no one else for my liking.

Manchester United v/s Arsenal

Prediction:

The Mighty Manchester United will be at their home against leader of the table for this classic encounter. I will say Manchester United will win this game because it is like do or die for them as any more drop of points at home before New Year will leave them in very dangerous position.

Why Manchester United:

Manchester United have felt an extra ease playing Arsenal in past 5-6 years. Beating Arsenal even at Emirates Stadium several time. Old Trafford also witnessed 8-2 trashing of gunner just 2 years back.

What Arsenal Lack:

Arsenal this season has been on top form but can they go all the way? NO. Arsenal are yet to face difficult fixtures away from home so I think Arsenal will lose tomorrow and before New Year they will not be at the top of the league. Remember Me!!! Remember This Link!!! ARSENAL WILL NOT BE AT THE TOP OF THE TABLE BY THE NEW YEAR!!!

Ozil Ramsey Giroud or RVP Rooney Januzaj:

I prefer Arsenal trio but you cant under estimate the power of United trio so I feel this game will be decided on the factor which defense comes out on top rather than these two attacking trio.

Arsenal Title Contenders?

Form:

Arsenal are having one of the best start to their season from around last 7-8 years. Wenger after first day defeat came back strong and answered every single critics in best manner possible.

Transfer:

Ozil Ozil Ozil. Huge name in current football. Maybe he proves to be best transfer ever by Wenger, the same man who signed players like Henry, Pires, Fabregas etc.

 Strong Point:

Arsenal Midfield is one of the best passing mid field. With right combination of experience and youngsters Arsenal have balanced mid field. Pacy players like OX, Walcott and creative players like Ozil and Carzola one might not have a better mid field in premier league at the moment.

Is it Just a Form??

No. Arsenal are now serious threat to every team in EPL. But I think this season they might fail to grab EPL but in coming season Arsenal might be among favourites.

Big Games:

Arsenal are yet to face a single Away match vs any side from top 5-6 last season. So yes after 2-3 of those games Arsenal might get to the position they truly and deservedly belong. Top 4 might not be that hard task as in last season but No.1 spot for this might be quite hard for Wenger Boys.

Predicted Finish:

4th or 5th. I might be getting biased this time but I think dip in form for Arsenal is around the corner.

What Manchester United Lack?

Fact about EPL:

In Premier League Era there is no team to win the league after 6th defeat. With 6 games in mighty Manchester United has already lost 3 games.

Defeats:

Defeat away to Arch rivals Manchester City and Liverpool could be justified as tough game or by the injuries of Persie and Rooney. But last night when Manchester United lost to WBA at Old Trafford there is no possible justification anyone could give. These are the games which everyone excepted Moyes men to win.

Weakness:

When Manchester United bought Fellaini it was considered that he would make Manchester United defensively strong but with him playing Manchester United are still conceding goals as before. Manchester United still do not have Depth of any sort in Midfield area. Due to lack of games time, Kagawa seems to lost his way at United. Manchester United only have 2 reliable midfielders who could control game, Fellaini and Carrick. Kagawa and wingers are attacking options. Whereas Anderson and Cleverly failed to step up the notch.

Way Out:

As a United Fan I would love to see Manchester United go back to winning ways but is it happening soon?
No, Moyes might need time as said by many Red Devils and Sir Alex Ferguson himself. But is United players understanding Moyes game? Is he understanding Manchester United way? Answer after these 6 games would be No.

Transfers:

With lacking in midfield quality Manchester United needs to go in transfer windows and buy some decent 1 or 2 players who could turn things around for them. For me, perfect transfer would be out of favor Chelsea midfielder JUAN MATA. I cant think of a better creative midfielder who might be available at January.

#MoyesOut:

I saw this tag all over my facebook profile after last night defeat. So one thing for sure whatever Sir Alex says or anyone else Manchester United fans want to turn things around quickly.
Predicted Finish:
For Manchester United fans no. 1 is only happy finish. But with new manager and such a start now United fans might have to compromise top 4 finish as happy finish. But Top 4 still requires quality stuff from a side.

Chicharito Over-Rated or Under-Rated???

Style:

He is one of the purest 6-yard Poacher of the game at the moment. He is one with sixth sense of where chance is going to fall. His positioning has always been great. He likes to play on the shoulder otf last defender.

Goal Scoring:

He might not have scored more goals for united than Roonay and Persie since he arrived but his but surely his goals per game is phenomenal. He scores at a very great rate. But does he get the praise he deserves?
For me, certainly YES! but it is seen  that he is accused of being over rated or just a very limited player.

Limited Game:

Surely he has his limitations. Everyone has some. But what he is good at he is certainly second to none at it. He is a Poacher and a wonderful player indeed. Bonus for any team to have him.

Weak Point:

He surely likes to play near to the defensive line. Due to which he gets offside a lot of the time. It does not  only effects him but his team and games momentum. That is surely his major weak point.

Future of Poachers:

Once there were so many great poachers like Ronaldo, Raul, RVN, Inzaghi etc. But in modern game there seems to be quite lesser poachers due to speed and involvement of players in game. Modern game poachers are more likely Persie and Giroud, who could win many areal battles of create chances as well.

Verdict:

Chicharito is a fantastic player and has awesome abilities but the thing is he is a striker who might be one of the best player if he came around 10 years ago. Modern game does not give much roam for such Poachers.

Tottenham Hotspurs Midfield a GIFT or a PROBELM???

Following player Tottenham have in their ranks to play as a mid fielder:

Sigurdsson, Paulhinho, Rose, Townsend, Dembele, Chadli, Erikson, Lennon, Capoue, Sandro, Lamela.

In addition to these world class mid fielders Spurs also have some youth team mid fielders to deal with. Even if we look at United their are 6-7 mid fielders which are most probable to start. But Spurs have these 11 midfielders to play how on earth AVB is going to manage that. It will be quite some task to handle and keep these good players after this season.
For me it will be difficult for Tottenham to deal with all these players justly. These players joined Tottenham to have more first team football at a better level. But if they do not get that first team football it will be difficult for them to stay at Tottenham.

Importance of WC 2014:

As mentioned that these players want more first team football then ever before because WC 2014 coming after this season. Every player want to prove his right worth and is trying to get slot in WC 2014 squad for their respective National Sides.

Manager Take:

Well at the moment AVB must be glad to have such a great squad but as time goes on he surely will be dealing with problems of minutes each mid fielder is having. Obviously each of player mentioned above is capable of playing in their National Side but if this season they did not get enough time on field it might be difficult for them to be in Brazil even.

Depth:

I think no Mid field in Premier League is this deep to deal with injuries as Spurs have. Even if they have 5-7 players out from Mid Field they can still manage a decent mid field who would win games for Spurs.

Summary:

But the thing is its great to have such a squad but dealing with such amount of talented players is quite difficult for any manager so lets hope it turns out great for each player and hope they could manage a slot at WC 2014.

Hatem Ben Arfa

Ben Arfa is one of the world most exciting talents but his stats does not reflect half his talent. He scored some great goals in last two seasons though.

Injury Blow:

In England, Ben Arfa started his career at Newcastle United on loan and suffered a leg break in his first seasons at Newcastle United.

Return to Injury:

After his return to injury he secured permanent contract at Newcastle United and since then he never looked back. He performed very well in most of the games but he has been quite inconsistent as well.  He scored two goals in 2011-12 season after getting pasted 3-4 defenders. Such goals are always something special and always from special players.

Start of This Season:

He is now 26 years of age which means he is no more young player but a very mature player. He started this season on high and has been the best mid fielder this season so far in premier league. His dribbling skills are always treat to watch.

Stats:

As a Newcastle United Player he played 61 games so far scoring 13 times and assisting 15 times.
But he surely can do better. His injuries problems has effected his game a lot and to which he failed live upto to the talent he have.

Problem:

He has so far two major problems in his career. His injuries specially that leg break and the other thing is his attitude and discipline towards staff and the club he plays for.
Surely he is one of the worlds best dribbler but yet to prove his real worth and this season stage is set for him to make name for himself.

Fight for Manchester

Manchester Derby

Manchester Derby has produced most classical football specially in recent past. Late Goals, Exciting Drama, Fights, "Why Always Me", and to intensify their rivalry Sergio Aguero late goal to snatch title from United.

New Managers:

Pellegrini is new to EPL whereas Moyes got experience in English Football. Pellegrini managed Real Madrid for one season. Moyes is yet to manage any big club like Manchester United so tough tasks for both managers and win for any will surely get fans on their sides.

New Players:

Manchester City was as expected, remained quite busy and landed some decent players like Navas, Negredo and Jovetic. On the other hand United failed to impress in Transfer Market.

Start of Season:

It was expected for United to slip up at the start of the season as they had tough run of fixtures.
They failed to score in 2 of their 4 fixtures so far. They are still in decent position whereas City has
struggled to live up to the expected standards so far in the season. City played 2 Away matches
and they failed to win any. Cardiff City and Stoke were the games City was expected to win but they
did not created enough football in those 180 minutes to win. Against Stoke Manchester City were
lucky to get a point.

League Position:

City at Forth and United at Fifth, both are on 7 points. But as stated United had very tough run of
fixtures at the start whereas City could be on 12 points after 4 games.

 Players to Watch:

  • In Attack Persie from United and Aguero from City will be Attackers, expected to score one or two for their side.
  • In Mid Field Yaya Toure and Fellaini could be a power battle to watch this time in the Derby.
  • Defensively both back 4 should be on their top of the game to win it for their sides.

Predicted Out Come:

As seen in last two seasons their will be a winning side. As a United Fan i would say United will win
but it will be tough task for new manager. I would say 3-1 for United.

Manchester United 2013-14

Manchester United

Transfers:

Manchester United are always keen on bring in one of best talents. This transfer window started off the same way. Manchester United being linked with best of players like Fabregas, Ronaldo, Bale but this time they failed to land any of those players. They got Fellaini, who is certainly very strong and he will help United as season goes on. But still this transfer window is failure for David moyes side and their fans will be hoping that this would be their last failure this season.

Creativity:

Rooney and Persie in the attack who would think United might fail to score in two of their three opening games of the season. Persie is a World Class striker so is Wayne. But they are lacking to step up a gear after slow start in games. Obviously this is just start of season its too early to comment on their creativity but it might be a problem as season progresses. United success in previous season showed the quality of their wing. But last season their every single winger had worst season of their careers. Lets hope Valencia discovers his form again. Nani and Young are two other options as well on wing for United to solve this creativity issue.

Depth in Squad:

This seemed to be their strong point in previous seasons. But this season United might feel the absence of one mid player even though they got Fellaini. Still they lack a player like Ozil who could play as CM and CAM together at the same time. Cleverly game is quite limited as well. Anderson being inconsistent, it United might face problems in Mid Field. Attack and Defense of United are strong enough that they could coup up with injuries and resting players. Mid Field might cause headache for David Moyes in his first season in charge.

Weak Point:

United overall looks very strong and title Contenders. But as mentioned Mid Field might be problem for United. they got Fellaini but still question remains can Rooney handle United responsibility of creating most of chances? Rooney is attacker and playing him in Mid effects his game and goals. Persie and Rooney combination in strike might be best in the league but with this Mid Field it is more or less Rooney as Mid Fielder and Persie as striker which might not be as effective partnership as it was supposed to be.

Manager:

Old Trafford will miss the greatest manager of English Premier League era. David Moses operated at Everton very well and obviously Sir Alex Ferguson saw something him in before naming him as Manchester United manager. Hopefully he proves Sir Alex correct. New Manager might be factor that United may struggle to achieve the standards they have set for themselves.

Predicted Finish:

Many might disagree but I see United finishing as Champions or Runner-ups this season. Champions spot looks to be in  their grasps if David Moyes could get the right combination working.

Players Important for Team

Players Important for Team

Giroud:

He will surely be one of those strikers in the league who will be aiming for golden boot this season. Only second season in he looks like an exciting striker who wants to score at every chance he gets. His biggest asset is his jumping and heading ability. But he could be inconsistent at times.

Benteke:

He got 19 goals in his debut season at only age of 21. His goals last seasons tells a lot about his potential to be league best one day. Player with his potential is always great for any team. Surely the strongest candidate for young PFA this year. He is one of those players who always steps up in bigger games.

Bellamy:

He is old but still exciting player. Of course for team like Cardiff City he is valuable asset.

Oscar:

Chelsea has so many new young players. But the potential Oscar has is something very different and unique. He gets goals sometimes for Chelsea. But at this young age he still manages to control midfield and produce moment of brilliance.

Chamakh:

One of most unlucky players to ever play under Wenger. Extremely talented player but due to presence and form of Persie at Arsenal he was always second choice for Wenger. He delivered everytime when he got chance at Arsenal. Now to see him in smaller club might again lit him up to best of his talent.

Sturridge:

Future star of Liverpool and England. He is enjoying his time at Liverpool. Most importantly he is getting goals. He is extremely tricky and talented. For Liverpool they have at last got two strikers worthy of playing at huge club like Liverpool.

Navas:

One of worlds most under rated player. He is very unlucky for not playing in spain starting 11. He will prove to be a difficult player to handle whenever he gets chance.

Fellaini:

Not the one United should relay to change games or get goals all the time from mid field. But he surely makes team strong. His physical presence will help United to improve quality in mid field.

Lambert:

At last he is getting his chances for the National Team. He is very talented and strong lad. He will be important for Norwich again this season.

Arsenal 2013-14

Arsenal

Transfers:

Mesut Ozil is one of the best transfers this transfer window. Time will tell how it turns out for Arsenal and Wenger. Wenger transfer history has been one of the key factors in his success and carrying on in UEFA Champions League. Mesut Ozil only weak point which was seen on numerous occasions last season was his finishing ability in one to one situations. Mesut Ozil will be key to Arsenal season and most importantly Giroud should be focal point of Arsenal goals. Mathieu Flamini also returns to Arsenal. Ability wise he might be lacking or be slow but he is surely one who never gets tired so he might prove to be valuable to Arsenal this season.

Goal Getting:

Giroud started of quite well this season by getting goals. He is Arsenal best striker by far. Wenger like to play Walcott and Podolski on wing which gives versatility to Arsenal attack as well as gives Giroud some sense of security at his position. Arsenal Mid also contributes a lot in goal getting so as usual Arsenal will not face any problem in getting goals this season.

Depth:

Arsenal in previous seasons struggled due to lack of depth in squad. Remember 8-2 vs United? Arsenal had many injuries and it turned out to be some task for young guns to fire. Maybe Arsenal Squad looks strong and deep but Arsenal still is weak in depth of there squad. They do not have enough defenders to coup up with injuries. But great thing for Arsenal is they have great Mid. Wilshere is improving everyday. With Carzola alongside new signing Ozil will be a treat to watch. Giroud being main and sole attacker, as season goes on Arsenal might feel difficult in replacing or resting him in any match.

 Weak Point:

As mentioned by a alot of experts and pundits Arsenal is vulnerable at defense. But basically its not their defense problem. Errors might cost you one or two matches but their main problem is lack of defensive mentality specially in mid. Arsenal most preferable back 4 are one of better players in the league but still they concede a lot of goals. Because they lack a player like Gilberto Silva or Veira. Diaby is fairly a good player but his injuries means Arsenal cant relay on him in any sense.
Predicted Finish:
They still might get the 4th spot again but it is hugely dependent on how Spurs perform throughout the season with so many new players in Spurs. So again its between Spurs and Arsenal for 4th spot.
